"Recognize. Inspire. Celebrate."

I’ve never made a film. I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m doing it!

Being young and having little money and no experience with film production, Alantis Green wrote her first script in response to what she saw happening during the height of the Black Lives Matter movement. After the script was created she made this idea a reality by contacting a local production company to assist her in the creation of her film. Join Alantis as she describes her experience with all aspects from pre-production through post production such as crowd funding, selecting a production company to film, casting roles, scouting locations, and editing all during the pandemic. Atlantis shares her aha moments, lessons learned, and advice for future student filmmakers.
