Steve Smith

Dr. Steve Smith is an Assistant Teaching Professor within the Environment and Sustainability Studies Program at Wake Forest University. A geologist by training, Dr. Smith teaches classes related to Earth and Environmental Science, including those focused on water resources and climate change. He earned a B.S. in Environmental Geology from Bucknell University, an M.S. in Oceanography from the University of Rhode Island, and a Ph.D. in Earth Science from NC State University. In addition to teaching, Dr. Smith engages in research related to erosion and water quality in local streams.
